Mobile Sawmilling Service

We are a family business based in North Yorkshire providing mobile saw milling services for customers who have their own wood supply. The cutting capabilities of our saw mean we are able to tackle large logs up to 25ft long and about 1m wide and turn them into utilisable materials including beams, cladding, fencing materials and even ornamental pieces.

If you don't have your own wood we can supply custom cut timber from our yard stock. We try to keep a varied stock of Larch, Spruce, Ash and Oak. Sawmilling since 2014

I bought my first saw many years ago now to do sawmilling for my own purposes and odd jobs for friends, a mantlepiece here and a table top there. Once word got out I soon found I was doing more for others than myself and I traded my original saw for a LOGOSOL with a longer and wider cutting capacity and crucially mobile capabilities. This saw served me well for many year with a steadily increasing work load it became a full time job and once again I made the decision to upgrade.

I now operate a Wood-mizer LT40 with a wide head for larger capacity.

This new saw is hydraulic which has increased speed and efficiency when cutting wood on site as it is able to load itself as well as turning the timber for me which is a big help given the size of some of the logs it tackles.
